Costa Rica Private Jet Flights

Costa Rica

There are so many great places to visit in Central America, but Costa Rica is undoubtedly one of the most gorgeous countries on that continent. Interest in Costa Rica has exploded in recent years, as more and more people are discovering the many fantastic vacation deals that are so abundant for trips here. With its prime location between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea - and many expanses of sumptuous tropical rain forest - Costa Rica is a visually stunning and multifaceted place to spend time in. Whether you're looking for outdoor adventure or want to learn more about this corner of the world, Costa Rica is a sure bet.

Most of the popular travel websites would agree that the best time to book private jet charter flights to Costa Rica is anytime between late November and mid-April. During this time, the weather is still warm but not excessively so. Also, rainfall is less frequent during that period of time, making it easier to plan a vacation and to see the things you want to see. That's not to say that visiting Costa Rica during other times of year is a bad idea - it isn't - but if you're looking for the most consistently fine weather, late November to April is the best.

How to get there

Costa Rica is a small country. As such, it only has one truly major, international airport. Juan Santamaría Airport is the place where the vast majority of the people who come to Costa Rica fly in. There is always an abundance of charter flights to choose from, too, and plenty of airfare deals to help make your trip as best as possible. Since it is a major airport, there are plenty of car rental agencies available where you can find car deals to make getting around Costa Rica easier.

If you are coming into Costa Rica by car, chances are that you will enter via the Interamericana. This is the main thoroughfare or artery through Costa Rica, and is the most obvious way to enter and exit the country via ground transportation. Otherwise, getting around the country is relatively straightforward, making it easy to enjoy the many great travel deals that are to be found all across it.

Where to stay

One of the best cities to take advantage of hotel deals in Costa Rica is its capital, San Jose. Hotels of all prices and with all levels of service and amenities are available in this bustling metropolis. If you're looking to stay in the creme de la creme of San Jose hotels, check in to the Intercontinental Real Costa Rica (Prospero Fernandez Hwy, San Jose), where the service is impeccable the rooms are sumptuously appointed. A more affordable - but equally pleasant - choice in San Jose is the Crowne Plaza San Jose (Sabana Norte, San Jose). Finally, if you are looking for a very low priced hotel you're in luck because San Jose - and Costa Rica in general - has plenty of them. One great option is the Best Western San Jose Downtown (Seventh Avenida, San Jose), which is reasonably priced and nice.

Costa Rica boasts plenty for vacationers to do. All around this tiny country, there are rain forests and tropical forests to explore and learn more about. Canopy tours - in which you walk along elevated paths up near the treetops - are quite popular in Costa Rica and you shouldn't have any trouble finding one to enjoy. Beaches are another great place to spend time while in Costa Rica. If surfing is your thing, head over to Dominical - it's the surfing capital of Costa Rica.

There is a plethora of great restaurants to dine at in Costa Rica. Try some delectable Peruvian fare at Machu Picchu (1st Ave., San Jose). If you're in the mood for some topnotch The Hotel Grano de Oro (Calle 30 Avenida 2/4, San Jose) isn't cheap, but it is well worth it if you are in the mood for the quintessential San Jose fine dining experience. Finally, if you're going to be in Costa Rica - especially San Jose - and want some Italian food, check out La Palma (Avenida 9, San Jose).
